Overall:
This is actually a pretty good album. I didn't skip any songs. There are 5 or 6 great songs on here, so this is definitely a must have for the collection.
Lyrics:
Lyricly I was surprised. I didn't know this dude could rap like this. I'm definitely going back and listening to his other stuff again after this, because I kind of feel like I may have been sleeping on this guy. From top to bottom, the lyrics are on point and you could even make the case that Mr. Banks outshines Jadakiss on the song he's featured on.
Production:
You definitely need to be in a New York state of mind to make it through this album, when it comes to the beats. Simple but clean and creative samples loaded into an MPC of sorts, lol (just guessing). nI haven't quite figured out what era he went back to for this, when it comes to the production, but he is definitely consistant with the sound throughout. The songs all flow well together musicly and lyricly.
Conclusion:
This album is an absolutely good listen for rap music enthusiests and deserves 4 out of 5 stars as it needs to be added to your library.
