ALBUM REVIEW: The Blue Hour - Rexx Life Raj

Written by

Overall:

Man... not good. To sum it up, this album is a poor attempt at neo soul/spoken word, with an emphasis on the singing part. I'm glad I'm finished listening to it. Girls might like it, but anyone with nuts should avoid this album as not to verbally steralize you. Sounds harsh, but it is what it is, and you can listen for yourself, if you'd like.

Lyrics:

None of the rap parts sound good to me, but I will go back and listen to the whole thing again before doing the full review on this album. Nothing he said in his raps perked my ears as impressive, plus the rap parts were sunken deep between all of the singing, which was hard enough for me to have to listen through to get to the rap parts. Dude is not a good rapper and this album should probably not be listed in the rap music category.

Production:

The beats on these songs are ok, but nothing really stands out. I'll have to go back and listen again just to be sure, but none of the songs on this album were added to any of my current playlists, and I do NOT look forward to listening to any more of this guy's music, but force myself through it, I will, for your sake and the sake of future reviews.

Conclusion:

I definitely do NOT recommend listening to this album, as it will be a waste of your time, and deserves 1 out of 5 stars as it does not need to be added to your library.
